PVC vs. Wood Horse Jumps, which are better?

I've started working the A show circuit 1982, in 1986 started making wood jumps. In 2004 I decided to produce PVC jumps. Having a lot of experience building both, it is my opinion that PVC jumps are better in every way they are long lasting and sturdy. Except when it is very very windy,the lightweight PVC jumps may need to be weighted down. Every wood jump that is a few years old is rotting, needs paint, is wobbly, or all these. Wood jumps don't weather well, rain and moisture causes wood to rot and here in the south east termites and other bugs seem to love eating your jumps and poles. Then the painting, comes and boy does that take some time. PVC is impervious to the weather and bugs, plus they never need repainting and can stay outside in any weather. Horse jumps are an investment in your business and it Saves to buy the best the first time.You will find our prices very competitive and sometimes better than comparable wood jumps. Remember pvc jumps weigh half that of wood, and allow the most petite riders the adjustment to the course with little effort.
